Dianne is a highly accomplished dance instructor with over five decades of experience in the industry. Dianne's love for dance began at a young age, and she dedicated 15 years of her life as a student at the Hebert School of Dance in Opelousas, graduating in 1970.

After graduating, Dianne opened her first school of dance in Melville, LA, under the name Dianne's Dance Studio.  Over the years, her studio has moved several times, first to New Orleans in1972 and then to New Roads and St Francisville in 1977.  In 1981, Dianne changed the name to McAlvain School of Dance - Gymnastics - Martial Arts, which has been her studio's permanent home ever since.

Dianne is a member of Dance Masters of America certified by test since 1989 and has also been teaching in the Pointe Coupee Parish Schools since 1998. Her passion for dance and her exceptional teaching skills have earned her numerous accolades over the years. Dianne is committed to providing her students with the highest quality dance education while fostering a nurturing and supportive learning environment.
